- [Voiceover] Capturing good audio on your shoot often requires using an external recorder to either get more channels or better audio quality than the camera's own abilities. The only drawback to this is that all video clips must be synced up with the audio in post production. That is one more step, but since working this way can potentially improve your audio, it's definitely worth it. Let's look at some simple ways to make this task easy and painless in Premier. In our bin here in the lower left, we have an interview movie clip with sound, and a sound-only clip. Let's open the movie clip first. Now you can see we have a clapper, and if I zoom out a little bit here, you can see it's a pretty long interview, and I want to play you some of the audio from it.
