Saving time with favorites

- [Instructor] To automate your effects work in the waveform editor, there's a handy feature known as Favorites that's different from something like presets. You'll notice that the very top of your screen, you have a menu for Favorites. And these are all prebuilt settings that come with Audition. Unlike a preset, which you load in effects dialog box and can continue to tweak, if I click one of these options, maybe we'll go with the Telephone Voice, it's automatically applied to my waveform. And this can be really useful if you don't need to bring up the dialog box every time you just want to make the changes. Let's say we want to create a favorite for a type of compression that we always use. I'm just going to go up to my Effects menu, to Amplitude and Compression, and I'll use the Tube-Model Compressor for this. And I'll just randomly set some settings on this, not really paying attention to what I'm doing. And now to save this as a favorite, I just go up to this star icon at the top…
