Reduce sibilance with the de-esser

- [Instructor] Sibilance is the overly harsh sound you can get when someone says words with the letter S or S-H or C-H in them. It can be really noticeable and quite distracting and unpleasant to listen to. But by using an effect called a de-esser, we can target just those particular sounds and reduce them. So in my session here, I have a recording where the interview subject is using a lot of S-words and it's really standing out. Let's have a listen to it. It's just our last track here, I'll just solo this. And I'll jump to around about the section where he's the most sibilant. Let's have a listen. - [Man] And you really see this stuff firsthand.
