Mixing effects with sends

- [Narrator] Send tracks are kind of the inverse of bus tracks. With bus tracks we can route multiple tracks to one track and make adjustments to all of those at once. Whereas with send tracks we can take one track and route it to one or more other tracks, so that we can adjust each instance of those tracks separately. Now this is definitely something that you'd reserve for more complex mixes. And you probably wouldn't use them as commonly as you would simply outputting to bus tracks. But sends can definitely be very handy in specific situations. A good example of this is when you want to add an effect to a track, but also blend it with the original. So as an example, I'm going to add a new bus track to this session. So I'll just go up to my multitrack menu, choose tracks, and I'll add a stereo bus track, and I'm going to rename this reverb bus, and I'll also add a reverb effect to this in my effects rack.
