- [Narrator] Before you export your session you need to make a decision about how loud you want it to be. Obviously the aim is here to set your master audio at a level loud enough that the listener doesn't have to adjust their volume when they hear your mix. So if you're mixing for something like broadcast or radio you'll most likely have very specific requirements for how loud your mix needs to be. And to not follow these might result in your mix being rejected. If you're delivering to the web well there are no regulations you have to follow, at least not at the moment, but I do recommend aiming for a specific level regardless to ensure that all your mixes sound the same and again you don't want people reaching for the volume every time they hear one of your mixes. So here's my finished session and I've adjusted each of these tracks with EQ and compression, and I've also gone down to the master track and added some compression to that as well.
