Importing audio files
- [Host] Before we can start working with our audio files we need to open them inside of audition. There are a few different ways to do this. And it really all comes down to what you prefer. So if I go over to my files panel over here you can see the first button is the open file button. It kind of of looks like a folder. I am just going to click this to open the open file dialog box. I am going to go to my exercise files. And inside of that folder I have the O3 media folder. I will just navigate down to an audio file and choose open. And so now audition has loaded that file in my files panel up here. And I can start working with it. Its important to point out that audition hasn't moved that file or done anything to it. Its simply linking to the original media on my hard drive. So if I was to select that file in my files panel and right click it. I am going to choose reveal in finder or reveal in Explorer if your on widows. And you will see that it will take me to the original…
