Creating a multitrack session

- [Narrator] To create a new multitrack session is very simple. I just need to go over to my files panel over here and I'm going to click the new file button. So I can choose to click new multitrack session or I can use this shortcut here, command-N, or that's control-N on Windows. And when I click this, I'll be prompted to fill in some details about my session. At the top we have the session name, which will be the file name on your computer. I'll just call this My Session. And underneath that is the folder location, which is where that file will be saved, along with any other files generated by Audition like autosaves. I'm going to set this to the working folder in the exercise files and click choose. It's important to note that the audio files that you use in your multitrack session don't necessarily have to be saved to this folder so long as Audition is able to find them on your computer.
