Configuring your clip audio channels

- [Speaker] Before you even begin editing in Premier, it's a good idea to make sure the channel configuration of your audio clips is correct. This is because once you add a clip to your timeline, you have less options to choose from, and then once you send your sequence to Audition, you won't be able to change the configuration at all. So, for example, if I find a music clip in my project, I'll just go over to this audio bin, into music, and what I'm going to do is double click this Liberty remix file to open it up in my source monitor. And what I can see just by looking at it is that it has two channels. And if I look over here on the left you can see I've got L and R, so this is the left speaker and this is the right speaker. And this is because this piece of music has a stereo mix. If I drag this into my timeline, I'll just click and drag it over here, and I'll just zoom into it a little bit so I can see it clearer.
