Archiving your mix with stems

- [Narrator] After finishing your mix and adding it to your original sequence it's a good idea to also export what's known as stems, the isolated elements of your mix. If at a later date I want to re-edit my sequence in Premiere it's going to be challenging because the music and the dialog will have been combined together. But if I export my session here as stems, so an audio file that's just the dialog on its own and another that's just the music on its own, it will make it much easier to make adjustments later on. So before I do anything inside of Audition I'm just going to jump over to Premiere and make sure I open up the Premiere project that I want to send these stems to. So I'm going to choose open project, I'll go to my exercise files, I'll go to the chapter that I'm currently working in, 06_MasterExport, and in the working files is our Premiere project.
