- [Instructor] In this movie we're going to talk about the April 2019 update to Adobe Audition. Otherwise known as version 12.1. We'll just be covering the updates that are relevant to this Essential Training course. So this movie is mostly for people who already have a basic knowledge of Adobe Audition. Maybe they've taken some or all of this course, and just need a quick rundown of new features or things that have changed. So what is new in this latest version of Adobe Audition? Well, first off, we have a new recording mode that's known as Punch and Roll. And this is ideal for something like ADR or Automated Dialog Recording, where it helps to hear a few seconds of audio before you record. For example, let's say I wanted to re-record this line of dialogue, here. - [Audio Voice] Dedicated to military causes. - [Instructor] So what I would do is move my play head back to the time where I wanted to start recording, and I've got a marker here, so I'll just double click that to move my…
