Applying effects (Multitrack Editor)

- [Instructor] I usually prefer to work with effects in the multi-track editor, because it's a non-destructive process. Other than this big difference, the actual method for applying effects in both this and the wav form editor is very similar, with just a few minor variations. So here I am in a multi-track session. And if I just wanted to add an effect to this clip here, all I would need to do is select it, and then go over to my effects rack. If you can't see your effects rack, just go up to your window menu and choose effects rack. And here it is over here. And I have 16 slots and I can add an effect to each of these for my clip. So I might just go to my first slot here, I'll put the fly up menu on the right. And for this I'll choose something like pitch shifter. Let's have a look at these pre-sets here. We'll choose angry gerbil. And then, underneath that in slot two, I'll put the fly out, and I'll choose something like a reverb, maybe a studio reverb. And for this I'll go with…
