Adjusting clip levels

- Clip volume allows you to adjust the overall amplitude of a clip, as well as keyframe specific areas. So if you go this marker that I have here in my session, I have an interview with a sound effect underneath it. The only problem is the sound effect is drowning out my interview. (loud engine) - [Video Interviwer] Phone call to. - So what I would like is for the sound to start loud, but drop to a softer level when the dialogue comes in. Now obviously the gain setting is not going to help us here because it can only turn a clip up or down, it can't target a specific section of my audio. The first thing we need to do is make sure that we can see our volume envelopes, or if you come from a video background, you're probably used to calling them keyframes. So I'm going to go up to my View menu at the top here, and I'm going to make sure I have checked Show Clip Volume Envelopes, and that's this yellow line in all of my clips here.
