The third string G
From the course: Rock Guitar Lessons: Teach Yourself to Play
The third string G
- All right, now for the third string G. There's two different notes we're gonna learn. Open G and the second fret A. (guitar strums) And in first position of the guitar, those are the only two notes that we're gonna learn. So let's play it through the first example with just moves between those two notes, open G and second fret A. Here we go. (metronome ticking) One, two, ready, go. (guitar strums) So the next riff is in the style of Beatles song, Money, and this moves through all the strings that we've learned thus far. Let's try it out. (metronome ticking) One, two, one, two, three, four. ("Money")
