The sixth string E

The sixth string E

- All right, let's start out and learn the notes on the the sixth string, E. So, the first note is open E. (note plays) The next note is F on the first fret of that string, and just use your first finger. (note plays) And then the last note we'll learn on that string is G, and use your third finger. (note plays) So just keep your hand in one spot and move between those fingers. Let's try the first example, and this just moves randomly between those different notes. So here we go. I'll count you in with a four count. I'll say one, two, ready, go. So let's try that, here we go. (metronome beats) One, two, ready, go. (guitar strums different notes) All right, let's move on now to sixth-string riff one, and this is just gonna move between those three notes again but with a drum track. And again, I'll count you in.
