The amp
- [Voiceover] Okay, let's go over the basic amplifier settings. Most amplifiers have a few basic knobs and features on them. Typically you will have a volume knob, a drive knob which controls how much distortion or gain that you'll hear, and then some basic EQ knobs like treble, mid, and bass. So treble is the high range frequencies that you'll hear through the amplifier. Middle is the mid range frequencies. And then bass is the lower bassier tones that you'll hear through the amplifier. Also typically you'll have a few effects. Most amps have a reverb knob, and the reverb knob is an acoustic simulation that controls how much depth or how far away the tone is from the speaker cone. Throughout this video, I'm using Line 6 DT-50 amplifiers.
