- We're gonna move right on right on now to the key of D. Still maintaining our concept of the basic exercise is is one four five in the key of D. So that's D G and A. And working out of two bars each for the boom chuck. So the walking base idea, we're gonna walk into the G chord from D. Into A. You can choose, it's more about as far as your fingering of that kind of walk there it's what, my goal for these kind of exercises is that you really feel more of the rhythm and let your know that's the walk based on the scale. If you're going to stay to our four fret four finger concept, that's the way you would do that. We move into the key of A with our walking base idea here. It's gonna be like this. And to get to E from our D chord, we're gonna employ what's called a chromatic note. And that's mainly to keep the rhythm consistent. And so instead of, we're gonna connect with this.
