WMD MME: Envelope modes
(synth music) - [Instructor] In addition to control over the attack, decay and release times and shapes, you also have additional modes, such as AR, attack-release. This is more like what I call an attack-decay because it does not care how long you have the note down. Move the pointer down to attack-release, play a note, and you see it immediately goes with release cycle and down falls to zero, without waiting for you to release the note. (synth sounds) Attack-decay release is a nice multiple shape, where it decays to the sustain level and immediately switches to the release time and level. (synth sounds) So you can really carve out a shape such as maybe a fast decay and long release. (synth sounds) I'll make a fast attack here. So you get that really nice lip of a very fast attack-decay but then have a very gradual release. (synth sounds) Very customizable. I like that shape a lot too. Now we get to some unusual shapes, such as attack-decay-sustain-attack-release. This basically…
