- [Instructor] Every DAW has its own method of compiling multiple takes of a performance, and then allowing the user to compile or make a comp out of the various takes. LUNA is no exception and offers a new and pretty easy to follow way of doing this. They call it versions. I'm going to show you how it works. Now here I have a song by Reed (indistinct) that I recorded. I've got all the drums in blue, the bass, the vocal, a couple of vocal harmony overdubs, some guitars and some keys. Now most of this went down live, and that's why we have these continuous takes. Now I want to record an overdub of an acoustic guitar leading up to the chorus. I'm not exactly sure how I want to play it yet. So I'm going to try out some different methods and then I can show you how I did those on different versions.
