Verbos Scan and Pan: Voltage controlled panning
(left and right-panned note) - [Instructor] There are many different control voltage sources you can use to control the panning of a mixer, such as the Verbos Scan and Pan. For example, I could use my keyboard's voltage to decide where I'm going to appear in the stereo field. I'm going to tap an extra copy of my keyboard's control voltage, put it to the panning voltage input, and now notes below middle C, middle C being zero volts in this keyboard, (left panned note) pan left and notes above middle C (right-panned note) pan right. Let's go ahead and latch up a pretty broad sequence. (left and right-panned notes) You can bias with the pan control on the front panel. (left and right-panned notes) In addition to having automatic control, such as over the keyboard, I can connect it to one of the additional control voltages. I'm pulling on my keyboard just the mod wheel or the sliders. This is when you need to pay attention to voltage because these voltages that you bring in are added to…
