Synthrotek Verb: Lo-fi reverb
(staccato synth music) - [Instructor] Reverb is a popular effect to add to modular synths. They help make the raw sound appear much more spacious. Now there's a wide variety of great reverbs available as rack mount modules, or even as high end foot pedals such as Eventide Space, or the Strymon Big Sky. Therefore the reverbs that appear in modular format, tend to have something a bit special about them. Either they have vintage sound such as a spring reverb, or they allow voltage control of some of their parameters. I was fortunate enough to get a pre production version of the Synthrotek Verb. This is a kit module, it's pretty inexpensive around $125. It's only four hp wide. It is fairly deep at 54 millimeter. Since I do have a prototype here, they don't know what the final power consumption is, but it should be pretty low.
