- Alright, so now let's cover strumming more. So, there's two different kinds of strumming strokes that you can do. A down stroke and then an up stroke. Okay, so try to strum even just those bottom four strings with a down stroke. (guitar music) And try to really get all the strings to happen at the same time. (guitar music) Not... (guitar music) Okay, not independently, you really wanna hit them all together. Then do the same thing with an up stroke. (guitar music) Also, try not to look at your right hand. It's better if you can just focus on your left hand and let your right hand just sort of, go on autopilot. In order to get to that point, try just playing over and over again like this. (guitar music) Without looking, just listen and get a feel for how your right hand is striking the strings. Okay, now for reading a chord chart.
