Six-string E minor (Em) chord

Six-string E minor (Em) chord

- All right, now we're gonna learn some full chords, and the first chord we're gonna learn is a basic E Minor chord. Now you'll just see this notated as E, lower case m, and that lower case m signifies minor. So just use your first and second fingers and strum all the strings, making sure to not mute out any of the strings or let your fingers touch the strings that you don't want them to touch. There are alternative fingerings as well. You might see E Minor also played with the second and third fingers like this, but in this case we're just gonna play it with the first and second fingers as shown in the diagram. So before we try playing together, just make sure that chord sounds really good, and that you can take your fingers off, and make the chord relatively fast.
