Schumann, "A Little Piece"
- This little piece by Schumann is a great exercise in getting very familiar with the G clef notes. Now pay attention to the fact that the left hand and the right hand will both be playing notes using only the G clef. So don't let that throw you. I know normally we play the left hand in the F clef region, but there are many times in music when your left hand, and your right hand will be jumping clefs. So I want you to use this exercise to really hone in your G clef reading skills. (light piano music)
