- Now we're just going to vocalize a little bit in the key of C just to kind of touch base and get a little muscle memory working on this part of our range. For girls this would be from a G above middle C up to the C above middle C. So that octave above middle C, and we're going to start here and just start on a ♫ Hey ♫ Hey And we're going to work our way up to that. ♫ Hey ♫ Hey Up on that high C. And I don't want you to push, I don't want you to get out of your relaxed shoulder and necks. I want you to keep your base. Make sure you got a nice full tank of air. And we're going to just vocalize on the G and a sweep down, and then up a step. A sweep down. I just want you to pay attention to the muscle memory, the feeling of where this effort lies in your voice, and keeping your air forward, and your tongue forward, and thinking about directing the sound out of your forehead.
