- [Instructor] Now that you know the basics of controlling the oscillator and filter section of the Moog Mother 32, let's explore a few more things you can do with the modulation section to create some alternative sounds. Now, initially, I have a square wave selected (tone playing) set my pulse width (tone playing) to create a certain fatness of sound. I have the outlook generator modulating the filter cut-off (tone playing) so when I release a note, it closes down. (tones playing) and the first thing we showed with modulation was using the LFO to change the pulse width. That takes you from a rather thin sound (tone playing) to something that has a bit more depth or course to it. (tone playing) That makes a funner sound to play. (tones playing) However, you can get tired of that steady wah wah wah wah pulse width. (tone playing) Makes you a bit sea sick after a while.
