Opening an existing AAF

- [Instructor] As you might have noticed in the opening splash screen of LUNA, like we see here, you have the ability to open a new session from AAF. In this movie, we'll use the advanced authoring format or AAF file to import session information from both Logic and Pro Tools. And I'll show you some techniques and pitfalls to avoid when doing so. So AAF is a file format designed for cross-platform data interchange. This means you use an AAF file to transmit information from another audio app and open it up in LUNA. So this is more than just flattened audio stems. AAF lets you import tracks, tempo, markers, and even edited regions on existing tracks between apps. But does it work? If you've worked with AAF or its younger cousin OMF, you might know it to be kind of buggy. I want to show you how to optimize from both Logic and Pro Tools to make AAF work for you in LUNA.
