Notes on the 4th string

- All right, so now let's learn some of the notes on the fourth string. So the fourth string open is D. (guitar note) The second fret of that string is E. (guitar note) And the third fret of that string is F. (guitar note) Let's do an example that moves between those three notes in time. Here we go. One, two, three, four. (guitar melody) All right, the next song is the classic, blue-grass fiddle song called Old Joe Clark, and it uses a combination of both eighth notes and the quarter notes. It uses a lot of the different notes we've learned thus far, so I hope you enjoy it. Here we go. One, two, three, four. ("Old Joe Clark")
