- And now for the notes on the 2nd string. So, as you recall, it's B, so open, of course, is B. (guitar chord) And that's on the middle line of the staff. Then C is here at the first fret. (guitar chord) And that's the third space up on the staff. And then, finally, you have D here at the third fret of the second string. (guitar chord) And that's the fourth line up on the staff. Let's do the next example, which just practices moving between those three notes. Here we go. One, two, three, four. (steady guitar music)
