(8-step synthesizer beat) - [Instructor] Finally, I'd like to show you some live performance tricks you can do with a Mother's sequencer. I recorded a quick little 8-step pattern in between movies here. (8-step synthesizer beat) Now, for example, let's say I want to change that 8th note down here while it's playing. Maybe I want it to resolve a bit differently rather than repeating the same note as note 4. To change that, it's just a normal edit. I'll hold down Shift. Say I want to edit note number 8, play a new note. To get out of that Edit Mode, I'll hold Shift and press 8 again. You've already seen that you can change the tempo on the on the fly. Well you can also add swing to you're sequence playback as well. Notice that Swing is in parentheses. That means hold down the Shift key and play with the control.
