- Here's a good ol' song, Kitchen Girl. I'll play it here at 65 beats a minute and then we'll into what's going on here. - [Voiceover] One, two, three, four. (plays Kitchen Girl) Alright. Interesting little tune there. You don't hear it a whole lot at many jam sessions. Old time kinda tune. What's neat about it, the A part is in A major. The B part works out of A minor. That's why I like it. Another challenge here for in the basic level, we've talked about a lot of left hand position on the finger board. Four frets and four fingers to the four frets, and encouraged just getting used to your hands on the finger board. This tune is gonna push the limits of some that kind of thinking. Which is good. It's gonna always gonna keep pushing forward. And getting muscles developed. So right off the top here, we'll just jump on the top. Just four quarter notes, just down strokes. A little eighth note pattern here. So what we're gonna notice, our fingers are gonna work our of second position…
