- We're also gonna learn some new rhythms here. So, Slash rhythms can of course be quarter notes like we read thus far, but it can also be eighth note rhythms. So, this is just like an eighth note that you see beamed but in this case it has a slash note head on it and you just play uh one and two and three and four and just like we did with eighth notes but now for an entire chord. So, let's check out the next example that moves between E major and A7. Here we go. (metronome clicking) One, two, ready go. (plays guitar) Okay, let's go to the next exercise which uses those chords and also adds in the D7 chord. So you have E Major, the A7 chord and also the D7 chord. Let's check it out. Here we go.
