IME Kermit: Tap tempo

IME Kermit: Tap tempo

(synthesizer music) - [Instructor] Kermit has a couple other modes too in addition to this knob controlling the frequency of the LFO. I'll turn this mount down to zero for now. (synthesizer) It has the ability to loosely follow the tempo of incoming taps or gate controls. It's not the tightest thing in the world but the rhythmic results are kind of cool. So let's go ahead and patch that in quick. I'll grab another one of my gate outputs here for my keyboard. 'Cause I'm going to be using this in arpeggiation mode so I have a repetitive clock. Take it up to that tap or control voltage input. This input also gives you control over the frequency of the LFO, and change this mode to orange, which is tap tempo. Now let's set up a sequence. I might do some faster envelopes here, so it makes more sense. (synthesizer) Turn down this depth for now. (synthesizer) There we go. (synthesizer) Very syncopated. This knob is no longer frequency but division. (synthesizer) Oh, let's try some different…
