- Awesome. Now, we're going to move on to some heavy metal licks that are in three different keys. Let's start out with this one that is in the key of G, and this one just goes back and forth between playing the fifth fret on the D string, which is G, and then, some of these other notes around it. Check it out. (rhythmic tapping) (bass guitar music) Great, all right, this next lick is also in G. Check this one out. (rhythmic tapping) (bass guitar music) All right, awesome. This next heavy metal lick is in the key of C. Here we go. (rhythmic tapping) (bass guitar music) All right, and the last heavy metal lick is in the key of D. Here we go.
