- This particular embellishment, if it's done full voice, would be more of a rock embellishment, but you can also turn it into a different style by simply doing it softer, so for example, if you went, instead of (sings forcefully) That certain attitude, you know? Gotta have 'tude when you're singing rock. And otherwise, let's say, we're doing more of a sultry aspect of music, R&B, soul, whatever, that's not so bold, and you could go (melodic singing) And similarly, with the other one. (sings R&B melody) And that, actually, both of them, if you do it that way, it's going to shimmer. You're adding just a little bit of air to the sound. (sultry singing) As you get familiar with either approach, or both, you can also start playing with the possibilities, and just find new things to sing on top of the track.
