That means you're actually playing the middle note,…but the way I mute it is this.…I use the meat on the flesh of my middle finger…to kind of arch my middle finger down here…and mute the string.…That way, I can play string three.…I can go through string two, but there's no sound,…and then I go through string one.…So I strum down through all three strings.…
