- All right, here's example seven. Let's give it a listen. One, two, three, four. All right let's break this down. Here we go, power chords in the key of A, on strings six and five. Down strokes, we're going to move the power chord now to the fifth string in the third position, then up a whole step. You're going to play on beats one, three, and four. Two, three, four. Same thing follows suit when you get to the chord of D. Move everything down one set of strings and then back to A. When you get to the five chord, same thing but start on the E on the fifth string. Then the E seventh chord.
