- Alright, let's take a listen to example number two. (bluesy guitar music) One, two, three, four. (bluesy guitar music) Alright, let's break this down. Now, what you can hear going on is a different sort of a feel, than we've heard before. This is called a Mambo feel. It's very signature for a great, a blues great named Albert King. As a matter of fact, if you want to check out one of his classic blues songs, a song called Crosscut Saw, is a blues standard played by everyone, and it uses this particular beat, a southern New Orleans type of a beat, it's called the second line beat, but we don't need to worry about that. So, we're going to play against that, in the key of G. Single notes. So I start with a G, I'm going to slide from there, up a whole step from the fifth fret, and now check this out. I play the fifth string at the fifth fret, and then play the seventh, slide back with my third finger. So, I'm sliding up with my first finger, I'm sorry, up with my third finger, then down…
