- [Scott] Once you have MIDI event info in a track in LUNA, you'll probably want to edit it. In this movie, we'll explore how to edit and quantize some MIDI performances to suit your song's need in LUNA. So here we have an organ track and a drums track that are MIDI-base recordings. Let's take a listen to what we have. (light easygoing music) Okay, it's not a bad start, but I think we can finesse these drums a little bit. The first thing I want to take a look at is the velocity. So velocity refers to the value of how hard you struck the key as you played back your MIDI performance. You can show velocity by clicking on this little three stem button in a MIDI region. When I click there, it opens up to show me my velocity. And you can see, I was hitting this as hard as I could, basically, because all of the drum pieces have full 127 velocity.
