Doepfer VCRF: Adding motion

Doepfer VCRF: Adding motion

(long resonant note) - [Voiceover] Now some resonant filters have fixed frequencies. This is the format that you've created. However, some of them have the ability to voltage control the cut off of the resonance peaks. You can envelope them, you can attach them to something like a slider, I have fun doing that, let's go ahead and grab one of the sliders on our keyboard here, and apply that to one of these voltages, (resonant note shifting in pitch) if you have a little bit of trouble with clipping, let's turn that down. (resonant note shifting in pitch) So we can have a bit of fun there shaving the sound or some filters even have low frequency oscillators built in to them so they can automatically sweep those individual frequencies and create a lot of motion in the sound. (sliding note) Bring up the other one. And then the higher band, maybe a faster modulation on that. (plays several notes, demonstrates modulation) Slow down the low band. (plays several notes, demonstrates…
