Your Merch artwork is probably the most critical element when it comes to your Merch outside of the actual sales technique. Whenever possible get a designer with some experience in Merch design to help you. In the event that that's not possible, here a few trips and tricks that can make a big difference in your final design. Everything is easier and cheaper with fewer colors. The more colors that you introduce, the more likely you'll run into problems or extra expense. Limiting your designs to only one or two colors will make everything a lot less complicated. Use Pantone colors in your artwork. You and your graphic designer may typically do artwork in RGB or CMYK color modes. But to ensure the most accurate colors when it comes to silk screening definitely use PMS colors in your artwork. This makes the color separations that are used a lot more accurate. Avoid color gradients. Anything with a gradient, or the gradual change from one color to another will be more difficult to print…
