Adding sharps and flats

Adding sharps and flats

- All right, so let's go to Adding Sharps and Flats. So let's take these natural notes that you've learned and you've learned 17 different notes in open position of the guitar, and let's add sharps and flats to that. There is an additional symbol that I want to tell you about and that is a Natural Sign, and that cancels out a sharp or flat. Sharps or flats only last for the measure that they're written unless there is a key signature and we'll get to that later. But if you need to have a natural note after a note that's been sharp or flat, you need a natural sign to cancel it out. So let's try the next example which uses some of these accidentals. Here we go. One, two, three, four. (guitar strums)
