(electronic humming) - [Instructor] In the previous movie, we talked about the basics of hooking up an oscillator into your system through precision adder into octave offsets, into your oscillator, and into some audio mixer. Here's an audio mixer built into the Moog here. I could use an external mixer as well. But speaking of mixers, while we're here, let's talk about the erica just a little bit more. One of the really cool things about it is it takes all this internal waveforms and feeds them into its own internal utility mixer. It has a minus or positive, an attenuating or inverting mix for each of these different waveforms. This allows me to custom craft some very interesting sounds. (electronic humming) I'll change the mix to hear just the erica. (electronic humming) Bring in a sub-octave, which really adds depth to the sound.
