Adding a different modulation source

Adding a different modulation source

(thumping techno beat) - [Instructor] In this chapter, we're going to try out a few different types of modulation sources that we can add to our small modular system. We have been relying on a Roland 540, so far, with its two additional envelope generators, and an additional LFO, and it's just been a real workhorse of a module, but there are other options available. Now, throughout this chapter, we're going to be using a pretty simple patch. We're going to take a second oscillator from the disting, run it into the external audio input, and mix 'em together on our Moog Mother 32. And, we're just going to take audio directly back out of the mother. There's no need to see it on the oscilloscope 'cause we're going to be focusing on control voltages now, rather than audio wave forms. And, I'm taking a copy of my of my trigger, and currently I'm triggering one of the ADSR Envelope Generators, in my Roland 540, going through an attenuator to go ahead and open up the filter on the Moog Mother…
