Audacity: Cleaning and Repairing Audio

- Hi, I'm Garrick Chow and welcome to Cleaning and Repairing Audio in Audacity. In this course, I'll take you through a selection of some of the most common problems you'll encounter when it comes to working with and editing audio recordings. And we'll explore several ways to fix or at least improve the recordings using the built in tools and effects found in Audacity. I'll show you several methods for removing short clicks and pops from a recording. We'll look at how to remove or reduce the level of long or unwanted sounds, like background noise and room tone from your audio files. I'll offer some suggestions on how to improve clipped or mildly distorted audio, and we'll look at some ways to improve the overall sound of your recordings including compression, EQ, and normalizing.
