- The success of an e-learning project relies on you and your stakeholders and subject matter experts coming together to work towards a common goal. And with busy schedules, vacations, and conflicting priorities, you'd be amazed at how quickly your e-learning course can quickly go off the rails. A great way to prevent this is by creating an e-learning development timeline. Let me show you how. Here's a timeline I've been working on for a new project that I'm planning. As you can see, I'm building it in Microsoft Word, but you can use whatever tool you'd like. Now, an e-learning development timeline consists of three main components.
