Masking areas with the Selection tool

- The selection tools are a useful feature allowing users to mask areas off, copy an area to place elsewhere, or remove the selected selection altogether. And to find that you just go down to the tool panel here, and you'll see it right here, it looks like a little square box. Just click on that. And I'm going to have you go ahead and open the settings pod by just clicking on that to open the settings panel. And we're going to be working on the selection file in our exercise folders. And what you can see right along the top here are the different modes you have. So you have the rectangle, you have the ellipse, you have the polygon, the free hand, the magic wand, and then the paint area. So all these types are available to us, and each of them have pretty similar features. So these first four all utilize these features here. So I'm going to go ahead and show you all these first.
