- For all of the effort you've put into a project, for all of the brilliant concepts, the studied reasoning, and the solid design, and the countless hours to approach your presentation, without equal preparation is complete lunacy. Know in advance to whom you'll be presenting. If you've prepared properly, the players in this presentation will have already met you during the discovery phase. Nothing brings down the positive trajectory of a conversation like having members of the group that are being introduced for the first time to discussions that have been in play for other stakeholders for months. Do, however, keep in mind that this is a process you've been deeply invested in round the clock for some time. Your client has had their mind elsewhere. Providing them a brief recap of the mutual objectives is critical.
