Positioning the Cintiq 22HD for your working style

- Because the Cintiq pen display combines the drawing surface with the display into a single device, its placement considerations are very different than that of a tablet. The 22 HD, while not massive, weights in at 18.7 pounds to be exact, so you won't be moving it around too much. Because of this, I'd recommend that you have a dedicated working space for your Cintiq. The good news is that the Cintiq comes with an adjustable stand that accommodates a wide range of positioning. There are two basic working position styles. The first style I call the painting style, and this is where only the pen point is touching the screen. Now to get there, we're going to adjust this and there's two paddles here in the back. I'm going to depress them and raise up the screen, and then when I let go, it stops in that position. So using these paddles, you can find the position that works best for you.
