- So how did your drawn heads come out? Was it hard to fill all the shapes? Which head drawing is your favorite? Let me show you how my drawn heads turned out. So this is the template that you'll be drawing on, and for each of the 12 shapes showing, you'll draw out whatever kind of head you want. I like to use a brush pen for this type of drawing, and I usually start with the perimeter of the shape and so I just go ahead... I like using a brush pen just because I don't want a perfect line, I like having character to it. This works well for this. And it's a lot of fun to work with a brush pen like this, especially on something that demands you to kind of read into the shape, and see it for what you want it to be. And so it makes the process a lot more enjoyable to use a pen like this, in my opinion. And so what I've done here is I've drawn out all 12 of my heads.
