Working with railings

- [Narrator] Now it's time for us to add some railings to our staircases and balconies and I'm going to start doing that here on the basement. The railing tool is just below the stair tool. To add a railing you simply draw a baseline, and then to finish the railing, you either click again on the last point, or you right-click anywhere on the screen, and then press OK. We can do a railing like this, that is not associated to anything, or we can do railings associated to elements like a staircase, a wall, or a slab. Notice that those elements become blue when I pass my mouse on the edges of them. If I draw a railing here, like clicking on the edges of this staircase, and then click again at the end, we're going to have a railing that is associated with it. This means the railing will follow the 2D representation of the staircase with the break line and the hidden line above. And also, if I change the staircase shape for any reason, the railing should follow. Now I don't really want to…
